JJ Richa heads up the North Orange County office of the Orange County Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

JJ Richa is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in a vast spectrum of industries. He is a results-oriented serial entrepreneur who has demonstrated his strategic, proactive, and creative abilities with the successful launch and growth of several companies.

JJ brings a wealth of knowledge and business expertise to help clients start, grow, finance, manage, operate, plan and sell their business. JJ’s diverse background and qualifications enables him to assist businesses reach their goals, avoid pit falls, and increase their chances for success.

JJ is a speaker, panelist and mentor at universities, business conferences and angel/VC investing forums. He also judges business plan competitions at the University of Irvine Paul Merage School of Business, California State University Long Beach School of Business and Engineering, Chambers of Commerce, and the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC).

JJ holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree from California State University Long Beach. He is a private equity investor and is a member of Tech Coast Angels. He serves on the board of for-profit in addition to not-for-profit organizations that help entrepreneurs in accelerating business growth and raising capital.
